About the Kitschy Kitchen

My name is Timberly and I’m a 25 (soon to be 26) year old mother of a four year old, highly combustible version of myself – Emma. In the 2.5 years I’ve spent learning about food and food preparation, I was simultaneously working , pursuing my English degree, and chasing after a toddler full-time. By the time anyone actually reads this, I’ll be in graduate school pursuing my MA in English while teaching high school English in the good ol’ state of Louisiana.

To say “I’m not a professional” is an understatement. I’m just a girl, willing to be your culinary guinea pig, who has a penchant for new recipes and is learning, slowly but surely, how to NOT burn the kitchen down.
